Viewscreen Magazine
My friend Michael Cecire and I tried to start a public policy-oriented literature magazine in 2016. We were able to solicit a few really interesting short stories, but ultimately could not generate the momentum needed to turn it into a sustainable enterprise. I’m posting our content below, to keep it online and archived.
The essays and stories:
- March 1, 2016 Editors Note
- March 2, 2016 Issue 1.1. “Blood Moon,” by Joshua Foust
- March 2, 2016 Issue 1.1. “Why We Should Take Fiction Seriously,” by Brett Jiro Fujioka
- April 18, 2016 Issue 1.2. “A Story Told Over Dinner,” by Jacquelyn Bangfort
- April 18, 2016 Issue 1.2. “The Gritty Anthropocene,” by Neil Bhatiya
- January 23, 2018 Issue 1.3. “Massively Open,” by Maria Sachiko Cecire
- January 23, 2018 Issue 1.3. “Social Capital and the Tinderbot,” by Tanner Geer
